About
I'm James Clements, 28 years old from Essex, UK. I have long had a fascination with anything technical which has proved to be a stimulating basis for my career. I have worked in IT for the past 6 years; my previous role as a Systems Administrator in the education sector. Working in an IT department within education allowed me to amass a very broad range of skills - something that may not have been possible in a different environment.
I have studied for my MCSE, MCTS, CCNA and VCP certifications and completed my MCSE during a trip to India in 2007. A friend and I participated in a course and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of studying in another country. I recently upgraded my MCSE to MCTS through self study.
I am a member of the British Computer Society and have held a membership with them since joining through election in June 2006.
I graduated from the University of East London in 2004 with an honours degree in Computer Science (Information Systems.)
I can be frequently found participating as an expert on Experts Exchange, offering advice to others and helping find solutions to the many problems people encounter.
I am available to offer any advice and support if required. One key skill I have developed is packaging applications into MSIs (Microsoft Installers) deployable through Group Policy and SCCM (formerly SMS.) If you already have an MSI, I can create transforms to tailor the application to your needs (e.g. removing components, adding serial numbers, adding extra files/regkeys.)
